Affiliate Disclosure

The short version: We may earn a commission on purchases made through links on this site — at no cost to you. This doesn't influence what we recommend.

How it works

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something, we earn a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you went directly to the retailer.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate advertising programs. These programs are designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to products.

What this doesn't change

The affiliate relationship does not influence our editorial coverage. We only write about things we've actually used or that someone we trust has used and verified. We don't accept products in exchange for reviews. We don't accept payment for placement. If we think something is bad, we say so — or we don't write about it at all.

We'd rather write about something with no affiliate program than recommend something we don't believe in because it pays better. Our credibility is worth more than any commission.

How to identify affiliate links

All "Buy it" links on product pages and in gift guides are affiliate links. We don't hide this. You'll see a small note near the buy button on every product page.
